  • promote sustainable community-led economic development;
  • develop resilient and connected communities.

Our
Mission

To enhance the lives of Afrodescendant and displaced communities by:

  • Providing nurturing and healing environments to live and grow, enabling communities to dream, aspire and fly.

  • Breaking the cycle of economic and psychological barriers.

  • Developing systems change by working in solidarity, co-operatively - moving from an economy of oppression and exclusion, to an economy of care and inclusion.
.

Our Values

The Covid-19 global pandemic has highlighted the glaring inequalities faced by many in society, but especially Black and Ethnic communities. In Industrialised nations, these were the hardest hit communities, due to systems of inequality, inequity and exclusion.

Through our engagement, place-making and participation initiatives, we are empowering communities to have more control of their local environments, to play a central role in social planning and policy-making.

Our initiatives are helping to provide the spaces and environments to create meaningful and sustainable change, for all the community because WHEN BLACK LIVES MATTER, ALL LIVES MATTER!

 Our Goals

We're developing initiatives and strategies to create greater equality, understanding and unity through a people-led approach. We're helping our people to use lived experiences, collective understanding, knowledge and networks, to determine our futures and reclaim our rich history.
